• Mr Noel O’Brien graduated from UCC Medical School in 1996 and undertook basic surgical training in Cork between 1997 and 2004, spending 2 years carrying out research towards an MD degree during this time.
• Between 2005 and 2010 Mr O’Brien completed his Higher Surgical Training Scheme in various hospitals around Ireland and spent a year undertaking a vascular fellowship in Lille France from 2009-2010. Having obtained his Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST), Mr O’Brien returned to Ireland in 2010 and commenced practice in the South Infirmary/Victoria Hospital where he has particular interests in upper and lower GI endoscopy, laparoscopic and open general surgical operations and the management of symptomatic varicose veins.
